“The twins and the magic potion – Introduction to the basics of secure computation” is a children’s story born as a result of a project of cooperation between Ágnes Kiss (Technical University of Darmstadt) and Réka Vidra (Hungarian University of Fine Arts) in 2017.
In the broader sense, the concept of the project was to find ways through which complex contemporary scientific problems could be made comprehensible to the wider audience. In this particular case we intended to give a “gamified” introduction to the cryptographic problem of “secure computation” (the main focus of Ágnes’s PhD research), wrapped in a children’s story.
During the cooperation Réka Vidra received the scholarship of the New National Excellence Program of the Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungary.
